Summer Desserts: Healthy Eating

Before I left for Blogher I poisoned the dog.

Not intentionally, I gave her a slice of ham from my daughter's lunch box. So in stead of a relaxing morning in New York City I spent it with our dog at the vet. Three medications, special dog food, and 500 dollars later our dog is recovering well from food poisoning. I felt so guilty, and I was such a wreck about the whole episode that I forgot to bring my computer to Blogher. I still managed to learn a lot about blogging: in the areas of technical, writing, and marketing. I met a lot of lovely bloggers and sponsors (who I will tell more about in future posts). I wasn't up for the late night partying, but I did enjoy my hotel room's spacious bathtub and a box (a small box) of Neuhaus chocolates. I doubt that any of you are surprised that it was the simple things that I enjoyed the most.
I didn't splurge and get you all some chocolates, but I think you will find these fun light summer desserts quite satisfying.
